The AR Interactive Veterinary Industry Guide to Workplace Safety is supported by the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA), the Veterinary Business Group (VBG), and the National Safety Council of Australia (NSCA) Foundation.
This year’s Guide addresses:
– Mental health and wellbeing psychosocial risk factors and management strategies, encompassing the AVA holistic approach using the 3 Pillars THRIVE initiative – Prevent; Promote; Protect.
– The revised Veterinary Labelling Code (VLC);
– Sharps Safety;
– Veterinary Personal Biosecurity and PPE.
Utilising the Augmented Reality (AR) tool, resources can be downloaded via the free Pro-Vis AR App, supplementing the printed information and creating an interactive space for clinics to educate and train all levels of veterinary staff.
