The Cotton Industry Guide to Safety is supported by Are You Bogged Mate? and the National Safety Council of Australia Foundation. In the 2020/21 edition, cotton growers are provided with excellent resources to assist them in maintaining a healthy and hazard-free farm; these areas include the new quad bike safety standards, guidelines for telehandler safety, plant and equipment and electrical safety, contractor safety management and worker injury management.
The Guide includes Augmented Reality (AR) content, which transforms it into an interactive space where farmers can access and download additional resources using the free Pro-Vis AR app.
The Guide is distributed to cotton farmers, farms and ginners, national cotton services, industry associations and institutes, cotton supply chain and contractors as well as education and training institutes across Australia.
